Thoughts on healing with Homeopathy: Vlog

I did it.

I recorded a Vlog…. it was kinda fun.  Check out my thoughts of my first experience with homeopathy by clicking the link below.  Be sure to let me know what you think (eeep it’s quite frightening putting yourself “out there” in the flesh – it so easy to hide behind the typed word,no?)

First Vlog!

Would love to hear your feedback…..

awww I love getting a chance to actually see/hear you Lou!! You are SO beautiful inside and out. It’s so weird I never even considered that you would have an accent before haha… not sure why, duh! It’s very lovely! Pretty amazing that the homeopathy is helping so much already. Can’t wait to hear more. If I still had a blog I could shoot a video sitting outside here in Canada so you could see just how disgusting it is compared to that sunny outdoors that was surrounding you (and show off my Canadian accent haha) ;)

    • Lou says :

Oh thank you so much Ami – this means the world :) It’s funny – listening to myself recorded…. I didn’t even realise how much of an accent I have! And because it’s sort of half Aussie, half New Zealand it’s a bit strange, Ha. Yes I am pretty lucky where I live (apart from the odd bout of crazy flooding!) – will keep you updated on the homeopathy…. so far I am AMAZED!

  2. Hannah says :

AAAAH AUSTRALIAN ACCENT!!! I wonder why I can hear yours, but not my parents’/brother’s/Canberran friends’ accents? Okay, I’m going to keep watching now.

  3. Hannah says :

So happy for you. I will, of course, continue to love you regardless of whether your palms are wet or dry, but I really hope you continue to have stellar successes with this in the anxiety/depression arena. You are a wonder, gorgeous lady.

P.S. I almost never (truly, I 99% don’t) watch video blogs. YOU BE SPECIAL. But we knew that already :)

    • Lou says :

I never used to watch video blogs either – but just recently I started and I kinda like it – I am honoured you took the time to watch mine! Gives my old brain a rest somewhat watching rather than reading sometimes ;) Plus Misty likes to watch things with me, and try to lick people’s faces. Ha.

Yes yes, it’s very early days in this little adventure into homeopathy, but the whole idea is quite fascinating – and I’m always willing to experiment.

ahhhh i miss you even more now!

    • Lou says :

I took a page outta your book on the Vlog thing ;) It’s quite fun (and less hassle on the typing front!) Miss you too!

  5. Raechel @the rebel grrrl kitchen says :

I’m so glad you made a vlog! It’s great to hear your voice! You are even more beautiful and radiant in video. :) that’s awesome that the homeopathy I’d helping already. I look forward to hearing more!

    • Lou says :

Oh thank you, Raechel, you are too sweet :) I’m pretty buzzed on this homeopathy ride – will definitely keep you all updated!

  6. Lindsay says :

Yay! Very cool listening to your Vlog. Love to hear how Homeopathy is going for you already. We absolutely love it, and use it from teething to coughs and first aid. Look forward to seeing how it continues to work for you, and it is great to see ya behind the camera :)

    • Lou says :

Yes yes, homeopathy (and most alternative therapy actually) seems to be embraced way more in NZ than in Aussie – I am always excited to come home because products are SO easy to just buy over the counter in NZ, whereas in Aus, it’s all prescription which is frustrating (and expensive!)

      Thanks Lindsay!

      • Lindsay says :

Wow, I did not realise that they would be prescription over there! Even when we were overseas in California I was able to buy some in the shops, but definitely more accessible in New Zealand. At least it seems to be working well and that you are on the right path :)

        • Lou says :

Yeah, I mean you can get the mild stuff over the counter…. but that’s kind of a waste of time/money really! Go for the good stuff I say ;)

  7. Gabby @ the veggie nook says :

Awww this was such a treat to wake up to! You are absolutely adorable and beautiful all at the same time and I loved getting a little peak into who you are away from the writing. You carry yourself wonderfully and speak from the heart. You seem so genuine :) I can’t wait to watch more!! Oh and I LOVE your accent ;)

    • Lou says :

Oh thanks Gabby! It’s kinda daunting putting yourself “out there” but honestly I really enjoyed it, and I feel somewhat more connected to you guys from it? Will definitely make it a regular thing – maybe a few recipe vids? Oh your comment has made me smile, thank you x

  8. Brittany says :

OH MY GOSH I AM obsessed with your accent!! You are my favorite and I want to meet you SOOOO BADLY you have no idea!! I am SUCH a big creep, I was SMILING this entire video. I felt like we were hanging out drinking vodka and eating raw chocolate bars!! You are GORGEOUS!

OK onto the vlog, I loveee that you are getting great info on the homeopathy. I think this approach is so amazing and more people would benefit from it!! YAY for no sweaty palms and feet! That is so amazing, and I am so happy you found something to help with that! I used to have wicked sweaty armpits, like BAD. I don’t know what changed it, but fortunately it stopped a few years back. Unless I am getting sweaty at the gym, I stay pretty dry now!

The tropical birds in the back ground made me day. I think that’s what I heard anyway. Maybe is was Misty. HAHA. OK I LOVE YOU BYE!

    • Lou says :

Oh Brittany you are so flippin’ sweet, I would LOVE to hang with you someday…. we would have such a blast I just know it!

Wow, you must have been listening well – didn’t even realise there were birdies around (you kind of get used to them cos they just sing sing sing constantly) I’m pretty lucky to live in such a lush place…. man you would just LOVE Australia, you should totally come visit one day – I can see you just loving the lifestyle here :)

  9. Katie says :

I love actually seeing people I’ve been reading! Your personality definitely comes through in your writing, but it’s just nice to put a voice to it. You might be the most adorable thing ever, by the way, but that’s besides the point. I love that you are always honest about embarrassing things. I wish more people were, because it’s always nice and empowering for people to see they aren’t alone in their various struggles.

    • Lou says :

Oh thanks Katie – it was a little daunting at first, but I actually really enjoyed doing it – more vlogs to come, for sure :) Ha, I have so many embarrassing problems – I think the key to making it not-so-embarrassing is to be honest about it – break down the whole “taboo” thing you know?

  10. elise says :

hehe. i forgot you had an accent :)

    • Lou says :

Ha, yeah it’s a bit of a strange one these days – not quite Aussie, but then all my New Zealand family/friends think I sound just like an Australian, ha. I suppose 6 years in a different country you begin to merge…. wonder if you sister will get a hint of an Aussie twang?!

  11. Sara Lake says :

Awesome vid. Although I don’t know how it works, I’ve had great results with the few times I’ve tried homeopathy, as in, almost instant results. I’m on a remedy at the moment which is for a less obvious ‘condition’ (more about that on my blog soon, probably….). :D

    • Lou says :

Thanks Sara – It’s totally fascinating subject, that’s for sure – I have no idea how it works either ;) But it does! I’ve had pretty awesome results in a very short time, so will do another post soon as an update. Looking forward to reading your thoughts on the topic too!

  12. allie says :

I finally had a chance to watch this. Love how you shine through the screen. I’m so happy to hear your voice – I don’t know what I was thinking with the voice I had given you in my mind. Really, this was a terrible idea, because I’m aching to meet you in person now. Thanks Lou.
    You are adorable + amazing.

    • Lou says :

Oh thanks Allie – your words have given me the biggest smile :) I just KNOW we would get on swimmingly in “real life”, know it.

      xx
