recipe fail, plus a hop, skip and a jump to another blog
I thought I was going to have some amazing recipe for you today. My first experiment with making a raw “burger” pattie was very promising.
The results were disappointing:
Great texture…. taste? Yeah not as mind blowing as I had anticipated. That’s what happens when you get carried away, huh? They are definitely edible, but almost too rich – they are sunflower seed based. I think I’m actually going to turn the patties into some other creation, as you know I hate to waste food.
On a plus, I received these today from one of my lovely friends:
Beautifulky sweet, sticky, syrupy Saudi dates. Yummo. Totally makes up for the failed burger; sweets always win in my book.
